There are tons of lists floating around the web with must have camera accessories but we wanted to share what we use as elopement photographers! After 5 years of running our business, we’ve got things pretty dialed and we know what works for us and what doesn’t! In this blog, you’ll find 10 of our must have camera accessories we use every day to make life easier for us!

Canon 5d Mark IV (3)
We have three Canon 5d Mark IV camera bodies that we love. The dual card slot has been great, allowing us to instantly have a backup of every elopement that we shoot. We also love how great they work in low light, keeping our photos crisp and not too noisy.
Atlas Packs
We discovered Atlas Packs three years ago and haven’t looked back since. As elopement photographers, we need a bag that fits our gear, is durable and comfortable for our adventures, and fits in the overhead compartment on a plane. And Atlas Packs ticked all those boxes for us which is why it’s one of our must have camera accessories.
If you’re searching for the ultimate must have camera accessories backpack, Atlas Packs are the best! We have a 10% off coupon code we can share so definitely message before you buy!
Wacom Tablet
If you’re a photographer who spends tons of time editing, then this is a must have camera accessory for you! Brian has used different versions of the Wacom Tablet but loves having it to help speed up editing and smooth things out.
Think Tank Card Wallet w/ SD/CF cards
The perfect way to organize your SD and CF cards. We both use one of these wallets to help keep our cards organized after elopement shoots.
Peak Design Capture Clip
This must have camera accessory has been the perfect solution for hiking with your camera and not wanting to carry it. The capture clip is super secure so we don’t worry about our camera falling and it’s great to have free hands.
Rose Anvil Harness
This is another must have camera accessory that has been a game changer for elopement days. Brian has a double harness and I have a single harness and we love both of them. Plus if I wanted to, I could always add on another side to make mine a dual as well. They’re great for elopement days where we are hiking or moving around a bunch and we need our hands free. Take a look at us both wearing our must have camera accessories here.
Pelican Case
We purchased our Pelican case 2 years ago now and it was one of the best purchases we’ve made! We use it every time we fly as our carry-on and know that our cameras and lenses are safe and secure.
DJI Mini 3 Pro w/ Controller
This one has been super fun to play around with. We put it on our must-have camera accessories list but it’s more of an added bonus. Having a drone has definitely allowed us to explore new areas of our work and it’s incredible to see things from a bird’s eye view.
Canon 24-70mm f 2.8ii
We both have one of these lenses and they are absolutely the workhorse and our most used lenses for elopement photography. They allow us to zoom in and focus on the couple while also being able to capture the incredible landscape (like this) that we photograph. A must-have camera accessory, for sure.
Canon 70-200mm f2.8 ii IS
This is another lens that definitely deserves a spot on our must have camera accessories list! This lens is sharp and fast and always has a spot on our harness on elopement days!
We hope that this list of our top 10 must have camera accessories was helpful for you! Make sure and share with all of your photographer friends as we’re sure they would love to take a look at this. And feel free to contact us with any questions!
