"They don't just capture moments, they make them.

Becky and Brian are your dream team. They showed up early, asked how they could help, and did it all out of care, not for a price. By the end of it we not only had an unforgettable wedding but two new friends who we know have our backs."

Meet Your Alaska Elopement Photographers

  • Helicopter rides with gorgeous ridgeline and glacier landings
  • Floatplanes to remote lakes and coastlines
  • Dog sledding and watching the Northern lights
  • Boat tours in Reserrection Bay
  • Side by sides through the backcountry near Denali

Our job is to make sure you're actually present for all of it instead of stressed about the logistics.

Victoria & Ben | Homer, Alaska

"It's always risky booking someone you've never met to handle something so special.

They gladly took us on as clients less than 2 months out from our spontaneous elopement in Alaska. They gave us so many great ideas of how we could spend the day in an adventurous way. On the big day, they were awesome. They let us be us and were more of an organic team to work with. We could not have been happier with our experience with Scenic Vows."

Not sure about timing, season, or where to go?  We help you figure out what makes sense for the kind of day you actually want.

Once you’re booked, we handle the details. Timelines, locations, permits, vendors. All of it gets figured out so you don’t have to carry it.

You show up, you’re present, and the day feels like you. That’s the whole point of everything we do leading up to it.

You don’t need to have it all figured out.

Alaska Elopement FAQs

Totally normal. Most couples we talk to know they want Alaska and they know they want it to feel like them, but that's about it. That's honestly the perfect place to start. We'll help you figure out the rest from there.

Do we need permits to elope in Alaska?

When is the best time of year to elope in Alaska?

Do we need to hike or be extremely adventurous to elope in Alaska?

What if we don't know exactly what we want yet?

It really depends on what you want your day to look and feel like. Summer gives you long golden evenings and access to pretty much everything Alaska has to offer. Early fall is stunning and a lot less crowded. Winter is its own thing entirely, snowy forests, dog sledding, a quiet that's hard to find anywhere else. Spring can be rainy but if you want Alaska before the tourist season hits, it has a certain charm to it. We'll help you figure out which season makes the most sense for what you have in mind.

It depends on where you want to get married. Some spots require permits and some don't, and the rules vary a lot between national parks, state land, and remote wilderness areas. We handle all of that research for you and walk you through exactly what's needed so you're never left guessing.

Alaska weather is unpredictable and we plan for that from day one. We always have backup locations ready, we build flexibility into your timeline, and we stay in close contact with our pilots, captains, and guides who know local conditions better than anyone. If something needs to shift on the day, we handle it and you won't miss a beat.

Not even a little. Some of our couples are hardcore hikers and some of them just want to get somewhere beautiful without breaking a sweat, and Alaska can do both. Helicopters, floatplanes, and boats get you to incredible places without a single trail. We'll match the experience to what actually sounds fun to you.
