You know you want to get married in Alaska, and figuring out how to make it happen is where we come in.
You already know you don't want the big wedding.
We're Becky and Brian, and we've been photographing Alaska elopements for four years, which means we've learned where to go, who to call, and how to put together a day that goes way beyond what most couples think is possible. Alaska is unlike anywhere else we've worked, and the variety of experiences you can build your day around is hard to beat anywhere else in the country.
Some of our favorite ways couples spend their Alaska elopement day:
meet brian & becky
Our job is to make sure you're actually present for all of it instead of stressed about the logistics.
Becky and Brian are your dream team. They showed up early, asked how they could help, and did it all out of care, not for a price. By the end of it we not only had an unforgettable wedding but two new friends who we know have our backs."
Real planning support from two photographers who know Alaska inside and out. Most couples planning an Alaska elopement are doing it from across the country, for a place they've never been to, and we've done this enough times to know exactly what you need and what you don't. Whether you're doing a half day or a full day, here's what's built into every package.
This is photography, planning, and Alaska expertise woven together into one unforgettable experience. You get to be present. We take care of everything else.

"It's always risky booking someone you've never met to handle something so special.
They gladly took us on as clients less than 2 months out from our spontaneous elopement in Alaska. They gave us so many great ideas of how we could spend the day in an adventurous way. On the big day, they were awesome. They let us be us and were more of an organic team to work with. We could not have been happier with our experience with Scenic Vows."
Totally normal. Most couples we talk to know they want Alaska and they know they want it to feel like them, but that's about it. That's honestly the perfect place to start. We'll help you figure out the rest from there.
It really depends on what you want your day to look and feel like. Summer gives you long golden evenings and access to pretty much everything Alaska has to offer. Early fall is stunning and a lot less crowded. Winter is its own thing entirely, snowy forests, dog sledding, a quiet that's hard to find anywhere else. Spring can be rainy but if you want Alaska before the tourist season hits, it has a certain charm to it. We'll help you figure out which season makes the most sense for what you have in mind.

It depends on where you want to get married. Some spots require permits and some don't, and the rules vary a lot between national parks, state land, and remote wilderness areas. We handle all of that research for you and walk you through exactly what's needed so you're never left guessing.

Alaska weather is unpredictable and we plan for that from day one. We always have backup locations ready, we build flexibility into your timeline, and we stay in close contact with our pilots, captains, and guides who know local conditions better than anyone. If something needs to shift on the day, we handle it and you won't miss a beat.

Not even a little. Some of our couples are hardcore hikers and some of them just want to get somewhere beautiful without breaking a sweat, and Alaska can do both. Helicopters, floatplanes, and boats get you to incredible places without a single trail. We'll match the experience to what actually sounds fun to you.
